Young Minds Through Lenses

This weeks featured photos comes from seventeen year old Dante from Niagara Falls, NY. Dante has quickly becoming one of the brightest young photographers of his generation as a young talent behind a camera. Dante finds inspiration in the small quiet moments most people overlook. While others focused on the iconic scenery, he turns his lens toward everyday life-a evening sky as the sun sets, the silhouette of the sun shining through the Fall Season leave of the trees on a beautiful Fall day, or the tall evergreen trees as he steps away from the raw emotions of the people passing through the city he calls home.

Dante picked up his first camera at age thirteen, a hand me down from a relative, and hasn’t put it down since. What started as a hobby soon became a burning passion. He began studying photography techniques, experimenting with lighting and compositions, and spends weekends roaming the local Niagara Falls region in search for the perfect shot. His style moody, honest, and deeply expressive had caught the attention of his teachers and local artists alike. But Dante’s dream are far beyond Niagara Falls. He imagines seeing his photos published in magazines, displayed in galleries, and shared across the world. What talent and sense of determination from such a young mind? Dante is well on his way to turning that dream into reality. Great work Dante!
